Office Hours

Our Regular Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. During Lunch hour and when the office is closed for holidays, the phone will be turned over to the answering service, which can contact the triage nurse or physician on call for emergencies. Except for emergencies, patients will be seen by appointment only. If you will be unable to keep a previously scheduled appointment, please call to reschedule or cancel. This courtesy will allow us to make the appointment time available to another patient who may need it. Acton Road Pediatrics may choose to charge you $25.00 fee for appointments not cancelled in a timely fashion. It is our policy that children must be directly supervised by a parent or other responsible adult while on the premises of Acton Road Pediatrics.


Acton Road Pediatrics is a HIPAA ( federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliant office. HIPPA was designed to address the privacy and security of patients’ confidential health information. Because of the confidential nature of your child’s health information, Acton Road Pediatrics must receive your written permission before releasing any information. HIPAA complaint forms are available in our office.


We file most major insurance companies. Please contact your insurance carrier to verify we participate in your group plan. It is the members responsibility to verify we have correct insurance on file.


Financial Policy

Professional fees are due at the time service is rendered. This includes co-pays and any payment for non-covered services. There is a $30.00 fee for all returned checks.


A fee of $25.00 may be charged for appointments that are missed without notifying our office, or for appointments canceled less than 4 hours in advance. If more than 3 appointments are missed without notification, the practice reserves the right to dismiss the patient.


Please notify our office manager immediately if you need to make special financial arrangements for your payment of an account. Accounts delinquent for more than 90 days may be sent to our attorney for collection, and any costs incurred thereby will be the responsibility of the patient (parent of responsible party). If your account is turned over for collection, we may no longer continue to provide medical care for your child.


Please notify us immediately if your insurance has changed, so that we may make certain your claims are sent to the correct company.


Divorced parents; In keeping with our policy, the person who brings the patient for his/her appointments is responsible for payment/copayment at the time of service. We will provide documentation of charges to either parent upon receipt of written authorization.
